Chairman’s Welcome to Temiskaming’s 2009 IPM

It is a privilege and pleasure to welcome everyone to the first International Plowing Match and Rural Expo held in Northern Ontario. We are striving to make this one of the most interesting and successful matches in plowing match history. With our unique agricultural setting, combined with our forestry and mining heritage, there will be much to see and do. We hope you will take this opportunity to visit, take advantage of our warm hospitality, and tour all that the North has to offer.

Temiskaming’s Anglophone/Francophone culture will make everyone from Ontario, Quebec and beyond feel welcome; whether you are a first time visitor or someone who knows the region well. Our great organizing team; supported by staff and a host of volunteers from across the north are working hard to make your stay memorable.
