ANTIQUE-HISTORICAL...SAFETY RULES

Please complete the attached application form required for displaying your exhibit at the 2009 Temiskaming IPM Match Pertinent information concerning participation in the Antique & Historical Presentation area includes:

  • The deadline for registering exhibits is August 21, 2009.
  • All exhibits must arrive before Tuesday, September 22 and remain on the site for the duration of the IPM, except motor vehicles that will be displayed on individual days. If you have specific requests for displaying your exhibit, make sure you make note so that we can try to accommodate your request.
  • There will be no paid trucking for individual exhibits. Exhibitors will be responsible for arranging transportation of their displays to and from the match. If you are able to arrange a corporate donation towards your trucking expenses, please inform us of the name of the company sponsoring your display so that we can give them the proper recognition.
  • Farm equipment MUST be 1965 or older while vehicles MUST be 1980 or older.
  • The new requirement by Ontario Plowman’s Association (OPA) for liability insurance is $2,000.000 for all exhibits /exhibitors.
  • Steam boilers must have license and certification
  • First priority will be given to exhibitors residing in the Temiskaming area.
  • No exhibitor vehicles can be in the show area during actual show times. Reminder----NO PETS ALLOWED ON IPM SITE!
  • Show areas must be kept tidy with all modern tools kept from view.
  • All working displays must have a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit present.
  • The exhibitors may be provided with pass(es) as per the following schedule. In requesting additional passes on the application form, it is expected that you will assist with the interpretation in the antique display area and as a volunteer on the days you are attending.


EXHIBITOR & VOLUNTEER POLICY

CLASS “A”: Static Displays - 1 Pass per exhibitor/day
CLASS “B”: Small Working Exhibit: non working manned equipment - 1 Pass per exhibitor/day - Day tripper Antique Cars/Trucks
CLASS “C”: Working Exhibit that requires two people - 2 Passes per exhibit/day
CLASS “D”: Heavy Working Equipment & Large Collections - 2 Passes per exhibit/day
Committee: 1 Pass per day
Volunteers: 1 Pass per day
